In 2008, Tonja Ayers aka The Shoe Lady decided to write her first book. What started out as a one time print of a book which was supposed to be a joke actually turned into a best selling book with the first five hundred copies being sold in one week and from her shoe store!

After releasing her first book, many people would ask Ms. Ayers how did she self publish and these inquiries inspired her to create Emperial Publishing. Ms. Ayers' primary objective is to give other authors 'assistance not resistance' and her goal is to build a publishing empire, one book at a time by assisting people with following their dreams.
